What are the different envelope sizes?

What is a gusset?
A gusset envelope is a type of envelope that features expandable sides or folds, known as gussets, which allow the envelope to expand and accommodate bulky or thick contents.
What differentiates the sealing options?
- A Gummed Seal is the sealing method that requires moistening to seal.
- Peel & Seal sealing has a release tape which is peeled away from the envelope flap to reveal a strip of latex which, when pressed down, forms an instant bond.
- A Self Seal envelope has the sealing method where two latex flaps are pressed together to form an instant bond.
What is the MOQ?
MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity) this differs from product to product, but it is usually the box quantity, this can vary from 50 to 250.
Are the measurements internal or external?
All measurements are taken from the inside of the product.
How do I know what size envelope to use for my paper size?
The simplest way to find out if your paper will fit into an envelope is to change the ‘A’ for ‘C’. For example, an A4 piece of paper will fit into a C4 envelope or A5 into a C5.
What is a board back envelope?
A Board Back envelope is made with a board back & paper front. These are mostly used for sending items that you want to protect from bending for example certificates.
What do I do when a product is out of stock?

Can I request samples of your envelopes before placing an order?
Yes, on our website there is an option on each product to order your free sample!

Can I customise my envelopes/ packaging?

Which envelopes can be printed on?
All off our stock can be printed on to. As the stock changes in size and shape the production method will change. For any queries call one of the team.
What file formats do you accept for envelope printing?
Please send through your artwork as a PDF or EPS File in the highest resolution possible to ensure a clear print.
What printing techniques do you use for envelope customization?
There are several different printing techniques we offer, these are:
- Litho: This option is the preferred and widely adopted choice for printing, as it ensures accurate colour reproduction and delivers prints of outstanding quality.
- Digital: This is a four-color process that enables the printing of images and logos with exceptional precision and detail.
- Flexographic: This represents a modernised version of the traditional letterpress technique, enhanced with the capability to print on a diverse array of materials including paper, corrugated cardboard, and plastic.
- Foiling: This technique combines the art of typography with imagery to infuse a touch of elegance and sophistication.

How do I return my order?
Head to the returns page on our website https://allcolourenvelopes.returnscenter.com/ and from there you can create a return.
How long do I have to return my order?
You can return your order up to 28 days from the date of placement.
Delivery
How much is delivery?
Delivery is free for orders over £100 but otherwise we offer DPD next day if ordered before 4pm for £6.95.
How long does delivery take?
We offer a DPD timed next working day delivery service to all products ordered before 4pm.

Why should I buy a recycled envelope?
When you purchase a recycled envelope, you are opting for a product crafted from paper that has already served its purpose as a previous paper product. By choosing recycled envelopes, you actively participate in waste reduction and contribute to the recycling of precious resources.
Are manilla envelopes made from recycled paper?
Yes, all our manilla envelopes have a minimum of 80% recycled content.
Can you recycle window envelopes?
Most window envelopes can indeed be recycled but it’s important to check with your local recycling guidelines to ensure proper disposal.
